WEEE Directive

The Danwood Group Ltd is committed to compliance with the European directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (The WEEE directive).

This means that we will:

• Dispose of all waste in accordance with current environmental legislation.
• Avoid the export of waste (or “techno trash”) to countries where environmental legislation is not adhered to. We will not export harm.
• Record the amounts of each waste product we send to recyclers monthly.
• Test all used equipment and record all details.
• All machines exported to be sold as working product and clearly labelled ‘sold as seen, second-hand’.
• Develop contracts with our customers to ensure that they provide adequate service support for each machine sold in their territory, and dispose of all waste and end of life equipment in accordance with WEEE legislation.
